Welcome to my blog! I'll try to chronicle my travels as best I can, so hopefully it will keep everyone updated, but more importantly, I will try to note highlights, low-lights, and specifics, so that if anyone is ever traveling to these places, they will be able to refer back here for details which I won't be able to remember. Hope it fulfills whatever desires you have for it :)

Sayulita, Mexico (Part 2)

Last night in Sayulita. It was a beautiful day full of surfing, eating (one of the best meals I've ever eaten at Don Pedros), the cock fight, and of course, the carnival in town on the baseball field here for Sayulita Day! Overall, great trip- highly recommend Monchis and Burrito Revolution (but watch out for salsa blanco -- es "el diablo", and if you're on the beach, Medusa is great- rent chairs for the day/or week, stay in bungalows or tents, and the bar and restaurant are on the beach with great service on the beach. Watch out for all the dogs though- they'll "chew and screw" as my father so delicately put it. In sum, when you're here, you'll "eat when you're hungry, sleep when you're tired, and just drink all day ..." (~Sarah). Probably the highlight of the whole trip was our favorite game at the carnival: beer bottles set up in three or four rows in front of a tarp, then you stand behind a table and throw rocks at the beer bottles until they break. And the best part, when you smash one ... you win a beer! Who could ask for a better game??
